Legal / DayShift: Fix My Day

Terms of use.

Effective date: September 9, 2026
Last updated: September 9, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of DayShift. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

DayShift is a personal planning and focus tool that helps organize tasks, adjust schedules, run focus sessions, and receive optional reminders. It is for general productivity only—not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, employment, or emergency advice—and does not guarantee a plan is accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You may use DayShift only if legally able to agree to these Terms and in compliance with applicable law. You must not use the App unlawfully or fraudulently, harm another person, interfere with or reverse engineer it, gain unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, abuse purchase or entitlement mechanisms, or rely on reminders as a substitute for your own judgment where safety is at risk.

3. Your content

You retain responsibility for task titles, schedules, and other content you enter. You represent that you have the right to enter it and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights. Because DayShift stores content locally and does not provide cloud sync, you are responsible for maintaining needed backups.

4. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control. The App, its design, software, trademarks, and other materials remain the property of onething.tools or its licensors.

5. DayShift Pro and refunds

Some features may require DayShift Pro. Prices and availability are shown by the applicable app store before purchase. Purchases are subject to Apple App Store or Google Play terms, payment rules, and refund policies. You may use the restore-purchase flow where available, but we cannot guarantee a store will approve a refund. We may change, suspend, or discontinue an offering as permitted by law while honoring rights that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of DayShift. We do not promise that the App will always be available, error-free, compatible with every device, or preserve every setting or notification. Do not rely on DayShift as your only record of important information.

7. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DayShift is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing limits a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, onething.tools will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost data, profits, missed reminders, or business interruption arising from the App. Total liability for claims relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App or DayShift Pro during the 12 months before the event, or €0 if you paid nothing. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using DayShift at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, or if the App is discontinued. Ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions survive termination.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute will be handled by a court with appropriate jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
