This Privacy Policy explains how DayShift (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in the DayShift mobile application (the “App”).

2. Information DayShift handles

Information you enter

DayShift lets you create and manage productivity plans, including task titles, icons, planned dates, start times, durations, status, completion history, recurring-task settings, schedule adjustments, focus-session times, and preferences such as day-start time, notifications, accessibility, and display preferences.

This information is stored locally on your device in the App’s database. DayShift does not currently require an account or provide cloud synchronization. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into task titles or other free-text fields.

Device permissions and technical information

If you enable alerts, DayShift uses your device’s notification system for local reminders. DayShift does not need contacts, photos, precise location, microphone, or camera for core features. The operating system and app stores may process technical information needed to install, secure, update, and operate the App under their own policies.

Purchases

DayShift Pro may be offered as a lifetime, non-consumable in-app purchase through Apple App Store or Google Play and, where configured, RevenueCat. We may receive purchase status, entitlement status, product information, and service identifiers to unlock or restore Pro. We do not receive your full payment-card number. 3. How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure DayShift; save plans and preferences on your device; schedule reminders; validate, unlock, and restore purchases; comply with legal obligations; and respond to support requests.

The current production implementation does not use advertising networks or send task content and schedule details to an analytics service. Development builds may print empty analytics-event names to a local developer console; those events do not include task content.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information or share task content for advertising. We may disclose limited information to Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or service providers acting on our instructions; when required by law; or to protect the rights, safety, and security of DayShift, users, or others. Material changes to data practices will be reflected in this policy and the App’s disclosures.

5. Retention and deletion

Tasks, schedules, and preferences remain in the local database until deleted, storage is cleared, the App is reset where available, or the App is uninstalled. Device backups may retain App data. Purchase and entitlement records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat may remain under their policies and legal obligations. Contact privacy@onething.tools for deletion or purchase-related requests.

6. Your choices and rights

You can decline or revoke notifications, delete task information or local App data, choose not to purchase, and contact us about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or other rights under local law. Where applicable, you may complain to your local data-protection authority. In the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our legal bases generally include providing the App, complying with law, legitimate interests such as security and support, or consent where required.

7. Children

DayShift is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable law. Contact privacy@onething.tools if you believe a child has provided information.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the App’s design. Local data is protected by your device and operating system. No storage or transmission method is completely secure; keep your device and operating-system credentials secure.

9. International processing

Purchase or support features may involve processing in countries other than your own by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or service providers. We will use legally required safeguards for applicable international transfers.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as DayShift or legal requirements change. The revised version will show a new “Last updated” date. Questions or privacy requests should be sent to privacy@onething.tools.
